The Rockford Fosgate P2 15” subwoofer continues “The PUNCH” tradition. The P2D4-15 features a Dual 4-Ohm voice coil, 400 Watts RMS power handling, and can accommodate a grille insert using the included cast aluminum trim ring. Rockford Fosgate has always been known as "The PUNCH" and the P2 15" subwoofer certainly continues with the tradition. Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cones deliver bass impact you can feel along with VAST technology to increase surface cone area up to 25%. The P2 subwoofers perform best in standard sealed and vented enclosures. Includes diamond cut cast aluminum trim ring. Optional grille insert available.

Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former
Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use anodized aluminum voice coil formers that provide superior heat dissipation (up to 100° at full power levels). Unlike traditional plastic substitutions, aluminum acts like a heat sink to quickly dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil. This keeps subwoofers cool during high SPL conditions. VAST Surround - Subs The Vertical Attach Surround Technique significantly increases a subwoofer's effective radiating cone area by up to 25%.
FlexFit Basket - Subwoofer
The slot-mounted frame pattern of the FlexFit basket utilizes slots (where feasible) instead of single screw-sized holes. This allows slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted.
