This Rockford Fosgate T2S2-13 subwoofer isn't just another off-the-shelf product; we wanted something better, and we knew our fans would demand it. The original Power T2 subwoofer was designed by one of the world's most renowned loudspeaker engineers, thus there were some high expectations. Work was done from the ground up to outperform its predecessors while taking into account valuable feedback from our fantastic network of Rockford Fosgate dealers. They wanted it to be larger and worse, with dual everything, and we believe they failed to achieve that goal.
What is the significance of 13 inches? This is the "total effective radiating area," which is a mix of the cone and surround assembly. Because this model is so large, we included two spiders to ensure that the cone assembly travels as smoothly as possible. The IDHS heat sink gives the Rockford Fosgate T2S2-13 subwoofer outstanding power handling capacity, and the motor structure performs very linearly for exceptional audio quality. Add unique input connectors for big gauge cables to supply the required voltage effectively, and this subwoofer is ready to wreak havoc!
